Mike in the Park promo for Musician Mike Valeri

Musician Mike Valeri needed a web video promoting his Summer of playing guitar in New York City parks in 2008.

Jeff Korba memorial song by Dan Conwell to appear in On Point documentary

This song was written and performed by Dan Conwell of the band Llama at Large from Bozeman, Montana. Dan is a Montana State University student from their music technology program and a freind of Jeff Korba. The song appears in the film and is used in this video to promote the film.

A Spring time Saturday Walk in Chelsea, New York City

I want for a walk on a beautiful Spring day and took the camera along. While out I came across a saxaphone player near Madison Square Garden. I decided to put the video to a short clip of his music.

Note the re-occuring yellow theme of flowers and taxis. This was done simply for the fun and excercise.

CNS Music Video Production

Up and coming music bands generally do not have access to creative music video production for their original songs and promotional needs because of the high cost of most video production. Talent to shoot, create and edit a video is time consuming and generally cost prohibitive for garage bands and young bands making the NYC or hometown club rounds. I would like to change that by providing creative video services at a reachable price for dedicated artists.

Talk to my friend Mike Valeri of the band Fresh Dub about what CNS Music Video Productions can do with you and your band!

I love the arts. Painting, sculpture, music, photography, video journalism, theater and movies all move me and I have found my place in the art world. I use video to convey messages and stories. Creating my own art from the words and works of other artists. I can keep the costs lower than most agencies because I find other creative ways to make use of the video I shoot. My work in broadcast news and documentaries gives me the opportunity to file video away for future yet undetermined uses such as your "Biography" show after hitting it big. I may use the video in future news stories, documentaries or films. The standard CNS agreement allows for future use of the video I shoot. To lower rates for my time and work we can make an agreement that allows me the use of your music in my various news stories, documentaries and production.

I believe that what we as a people gain from each artist's contribution to beauty of sound, vision and thought has great value to the human soul. Let's find a way to take your creative work to the next level that does not cost an arm and a leg. See a few examples of what I have produced so far with Fresh Dub in North Jersey and some of the work I have done with Monument in New York City in the summer of 2006. "CNS Original Stories and Video" page.

There are so many bands and artists out there with the talent to make it but they do not get noticed. I can help by making video products that are creative and are their own works of art. With "MySpace" and "YouTube" the band does not even need its own website to let their work be known to the world! I want to see the groups I work with exceed their goals because I want to grow with them. If we work well together we will naturally be drawn together for future projects.

I have immediate openings for two bands to start shooting shows and promotional materials immediatly.  I would like to hear from bands so please . If your band is interested in learning more or want to be considered for one of the positions please call or e-mail me with as much band information as possible. I shoot in Manhattan but other areas may be considered.

I will review the materials and choose from the candidate bands. Lets make some history!

I will have other positions open for bands sometime in Februrary or March. With the additional shows the holidays bring I think it prudent to make use of that opportunity to get the first two band spots filled now. "Early bird" and all that.
